    WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM 2023?

    For this first Editorial of the year let’s focus on the positives. Production margins are dropping but they are still very decent. Winter crops are in the fields and for most of you, in excellent condition. Costs should be on the downside with falling gas prices.  If this is not enough to bring back satisfaction, think about Argentinian farmers who will possibly lose up to $700 per ha and Ukrainian farmers who are bid half of the world price and are facing massive logitical difficulties!
