MARKETS ARE BEARISH BUT REMAIN VULNERABLE TO RISKS.

This week was another good illustration that prices are not willing to move higher: market news was bullish, but prices still went down. In 2022, high prices were mainly fueled by fear and risks. Risks are now being ignored as sluggish demand is finding ample post-harvest supplies. We now need to get used to lower prices again, even if they do remain historically high to match higher costs of production. However, the market story is not over yet…
